Zara Tindall and husband Mike join Queen Camilla at Wimbledon

Mike and Zara Tindall went on a date at Wimbledon on Wednesday. They are regular attendees of the annual tennis tournament and appeared prepared to enjoy the matches as they arrived at the venue in south-west London.

Zara, who is 42 and an equestrian, looked elegant in a striped midi dress by ME+EM, paired with tan wedges. She completed her outfit with a fedora-style hat, sunglasses, and an Aspinal raffia crossbody bag. Meanwhile, Mike, who is 44 and a former rugby star, looked dapper in a gray suit and a striped tie.

Queen Camilla, Zara’s step-aunt, also attended The Championships for the first time. Camilla, aged 75, looked lovely in a white pleated dress and taupe heels.

During her visit, she met with some of the ball boys and girls. While Queen Camilla took her place in the royal box alongside her sister, Lady Annabel Elliot, Zara and Mike chose not to join her in the coveted seats on Centre Court.

The reason behind Zara and Mike Tindall not sitting in the royal box at Wimbledon is likely because Zara is a brand ambassador for Rolex. As such, she occupies seats reserved for invited guests of the watch company, which are situated near the Royal Box.

Several members of the royal family have been spotted watching the matches since the tournament began on 3 July. This includes the Princess of Wales, the Duchess of Gloucester, Prince Michael of Kent and his children, Lord Frederick Windsor and Lady Gabriella Kingston, as well as King Charles’s cousin, Lady Sarah Chatto.

On Wednesday, Prince Albert of Monaco was accompanied by his second cousin, Mélanie-Antoinette de Massy, in the royal box. Denmark’s Crown Prince Frederik also attended and watched Danish player Holger Rune’s victory against Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov on Court One on Monday.

During their outing at Wimbledon, Mike and Zara did not bring their three children – Mia, aged nine, Lena, aged five, and two-year-old Lucas.

However, Mike shared that the family had already enjoyed a fun start to the children’s summer holidays over the weekend.

He posted a photo of himself with two performers from the Tequila Circus and expressed his appreciation to the Minchinhampton Rugby Club for hosting them, captioning the picture: “Nice way to start the holidays @tequilacircus with the kids. Nice work @minchrugbyclub.official for hosting them. #summerishere #circus.”
