Spain’s National Day has been celebrated by the Royal Family

King Felipe, Queen Letizia, along with their daughter, Princess Leonor, attended the 2022 National Flag raising ceremony on October 12, 2023. The Royal Family observed air and land processions featuring multiple military units, such as the Navy, Civil Guard, Military Emergency Unit, Royal Guard, State Security Forces, and various security, civil protection, and emergency organizations.

The flag ceremony and parades were held in the Plaza Cánovas del Castillo square. Following this, the Royal Couple hosted the customary National Day reception at the Royal Palace of Madrid.
