Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie take children on shared family holiday

Since their childhood, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who are royal sisters, have maintained a strong connection. Currently, they are delighting in a shared vacation this summer alongside their respective families.

Recent reports suggest that the Princesses were among the initial members of the royal family to reach Balmoral Castle this week. This location serves as the venue for an event hosted by King Charles, which includes extended family members.

Beatrice, aged 35, along with her spouse Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, a property developer, are the parents of a nearly two-year-old daughter named Sienna, who will reach that age next month. Edoardo also has a seven-year-old son named Christopher Woolf, affectionately referred to as Wolfie, from his prior relationship with Dara Huang.

Concurrently, Eugenie, aged 33, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are parents to a two-year-old named August, and they also recently greeted their second son named Ernest in May.

The expansive Balmoral estate provides ample room, boasting an area of 50,000 acres, ensuring that the Princesses and their young families can relish a private and serene retreat.

It is probable that both Beatrice and Eugenie will be accompanied by their parents, namely the Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York.

At the age of 63, the author Sarah frequently discusses endearing and entertaining stories concerning her trio of grandchildren during her podcast, “Tea Talks With The Duchess and Sarah.”

Reflecting on her experiences of taking on the role of a babysitter for Sienna, Sarah humorously remarked, “At present, she holds the reins when it comes to overseeing grandma and grandpa – I can confirm that with certainty. Whenever I’m in pursuit of her, she bears a striking resemblance to Beatrice.”

Referred to as GG by her grandchildren, Sarah included, “She engages in the same actions as Beatrice. As Beatrice falls under the Leo zodiac sign, it has transported me back to the past, observing Beatrice closely, essentially a younger version of myself.

“She sets off on her adventures, searching for ducks and traversing through puddles, rain touching her head. Subsequently, she sings ‘Raindrops keep falling on my head… plop.’ To clarify, I sing the initial part and then she chimes in with ‘plop.’ This period has been remarkably enjoyable; I am truly pleased that Beatrice and Edo had an opportunity for some private time as well.”

The Duchess also shared insights into how she and Sienna commemorated Princess Beatrice’s 35th birthday on August 8th, mentioning, “I strategically placed various fairies throughout the garden and had Sienna embark on a fairy tale quest to locate these fairies, complete with wings.

“She managed to keep the wings on for quite a while before Beatrice and I joined in wearing the wings. After she discovered the fairies, we enjoyed a fairy-themed picnic, making Beatrice’s birthday truly enchanting.”
