On October 8, 2023, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie, Princess Alexandra, and Prince Sebastien participated in the 2023 general elections at the Ratskeller Office of the Cercle Municipal. These elections, held every five years, determine the composition of Luxembourg’s parliament, known as the Chamber of Deputies.
In this general election, 60 members of the Chamber of Deputies, which serves as Luxembourg’s parliament, were chosen. Only individuals who are citizens of Luxembourg have the right to participate in general elections. Voting is obligatory for eligible Luxembourg citizens residing within the country and who are below 75 years of age.
