The Duke and Duchess of Sussex provided an intriguing glimpse into their family and domestic life in their Netflix documentary series last December. They chronicled their transition away from royal obligations and their relocation to Montecito, California, while also sharing heartwarming moments such as Prince Archie’s passion for baking and Princess Lilibet’s first steps.
In episode six of the series, a particularly touching scene featured four-year-old Archie, who exuberantly played a toy piano and sang “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” Dressed in a navy hooded top and beige trousers, he demonstrated his musical abilities within the cozy confines of the Sussex family’s Montecito residence. It’s safe to assume that this endearing moment filled parents Harry and Meghan with immense pride.
The six-part series also features a charming moment between father and son, capturing Harry and Archie’s joy as they observe hummingbirds in their garden. Additionally, the series includes footage of Lilibet’s cautious first steps, with Meghan supporting her as she learns to walk. Viewers can also see Meghan engaging in gardening activities with her young children, while Harry is shown playing football with Archie.
This documentary series has offered the most comprehensive glimpse into the Sussexes’ family life, as Harry and Meghan have shared only a limited number of photos of Archie and Lilibet since their births in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
Archie was born at London’s Portland Hospital and resided at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor for the initial five months of his life. However, when Lilibet was born, Meghan and Harry had already relocated to the United States.
For the birth of their daughter, Meghan chose Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California. Lilibet’s inaugural visit to the United Kingdom took place last summer, coinciding with the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Upon their return to London, Harry and Meghan marked their daughter’s first birthday at Frogmore Cottage, and this special occasion was documented in their Netflix series, where they shared footage of the tea party.
