The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, are spending the Easter school holidays at their country abode, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk. The royal family is known to spend their children’s school breaks at Anmer Hall, and this Easter is no exception.
Despite enjoying some downtime during the holidays, the Prince and Princess of Wales made a coordinated appearance at the Easter Sunday church service. During the service, Kate revealed that George and Charlotte had participated in an Easter egg hunt that morning.
Aside from Easter activities, the royal family also enjoys farming activities, with William revealing that the children had been lambing during the February half-term. The children enjoyed feeding the lambs, with Louis showing a particular interest in tractors. Anmer Hall is just a short drive from the King’s sprawling Sandringham estate, which includes 2,400 hectares of farmland that it manages.
Sports are also a favorite pastime of the royal family. Kate has previously been spotted taking George and Charlotte swimming at a nearby luxury Norfolk hotel complex during half-term in 2019. Meanwhile, William has confirmed that they are a “family of swimmers.” The children are also into rugby, with George recently moving from tag rugby to contact rugby, according to Kate during one of England’s Six Nations matches in February.
Kate and William are competitive with each other, and their children have inherited that trait. During a reception for England’s wheelchair rugby league team at Hampton Court Palace back in January, the Princess revealed that “they all love sport and Louis is mad about rugby. They are at an age where they just love running around.” Kate also keeps fit by exercising with her children, even jumping on the trampoline with them before school.
Baking is another activity that the royal family enjoys, with the Princess staying up until midnight to make her children’s birthday cakes. During the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations last year, Kensington Palace shared an adorable video of Kate and her children making cupcakes for a local street party. The young royals have also made sweet treats for British veterans and a delicious-looking Victoria Sponge cake for Mother’s Day.
