Recently, the Duchess of Sussex’s agreement with Spotify was terminated due to the executives’ disappointment with her 12-episode series called Archetypes. Consequently, Meghan and Harry are currently in a rush to find new projects to pursue.

Tom Bower, a royal commentator, expressed that maintaining a reputable brand has become problematic for Meghan and Harry. Bower mentioned in an interview with OK! magazine that the couple is now experiencing the consequences of their actions during the Oprah Winfrey interview.

According to the same royal commentator, maintaining a reputable brand has become extremely challenging for Meghan and Harry. They constantly find themselves in a position where they have to defend themselves and are desperately seeking opportunities that no longer exist.

Since their departure from the monarchy in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have launched numerous public attacks against the Royal Family. Meghan strongly criticized the monarchy in her highly controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.

Tom Bower stated that he doesn’t believe Meghan has a marketable brand anymore due to her controversial nature. He believes she carries too much baggage, particularly from the Oprah Winfrey interview and subsequent interviews where she condemned the royal family. Bower also mentioned that Meghan has been relatively quiet throughout the year, possibly realizing that they have crossed a line and not knowing how to extricate themselves from the situation.

In the previous month, Meghan and Harry returned the keys to Frogmore Cottage to the Royal Family. This action came after King Charles requested the couple to vacate the property following the release of Prince Harry’s autobiography, Spare, in January 2023.
