A Private Coronation Celebration of King Charles with Exceptional Attendees.

King Charles and the Queen Consort are set to host a very special celebration on the eve of their coronation. The historic service will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6th. However, prior to the coronation, the couple will open the doors of Buckingham Palace to some very esteemed guests for a Friday night reception.

News of the reception was inadvertently revealed by the Japanese royal household. It was confirmed earlier this week that the Crown Prince of Japan will travel to the UK with his wife, the Crown Princess, to represent his brother Emperor Naruhito at the coronation ceremony. The couple will depart from Tokyo on May 4th on a government-chartered plane and will stay at Claridge’s, in the heart of Mayfair.

The Crown Prince of Japan, who is 57, and Crown Princess, who is 56, will then join other guests at a royal reception on May 5th before making their way to Westminster Abbey for the coronation of King Charles the following morning. It is likely that invitations to the reception have been extended to all foreign royals attending the coronation.

Several prominent royals have already confirmed their attendance at the Abbey, including Denmark’s Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain, King Carl Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, and Japan’s Crown Prince Fumihito and Crown Princess Kiko.

The British royal family is also expected to attend the Friday night reception, including Prince William, Princess Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, and Princess Anne. However, it remains uncertain whether Prince Harry will take part in the celebrations. After months of speculation, he finally confirmed this week that he will be attending the coronation alone. The Prince is expected to make his trip back to London brief before heading back home to Montecito.

In conclusion, the upcoming coronation of King Charles is set to be a grand affair, with a Friday night reception hosted by the King and Queen Consort. The attendance of many foreign royals, including the Crown Prince of Japan and his wife, is sure to make the event all the more special. While the British royal family is expected to attend in full force, Prince Harry’s involvement in the celebrations remains uncertain.
