Princess Kako of Japan undertook an official visit to Peru on November 6, 2023, as part of the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Peru. During her visit, she paid a visit to the Ludwig Van Beethoven School in Lima, which serves individuals with hearing disabilities, and also explored the Cathedral of Cusco (Cathedral Basilica of the Virgin of the Assumption) in Cusco. This six-day diplomatic journey is a significant milestone in celebrating the enduring bond between Japan and Peru.
