This remarkable 15th-century Inca stronghold, perched upon a mountain ridge, is renowned as the enigmatic “Lost City of the Inca Empire.”
Princess Kako’s visit to Machu Picchu is part of her six-day official sojourn in Peru, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Peru.
