In a significant event on October 21st, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Crown Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofía embarked on a ceremonial journey to the parishes of Arroes, Pion, and Candanal, situated within the enchanting Villaviciosa of the Asturias province. The purpose of this royal visit was to bestow upon them the prestigious “Exemplary Town of Asturias Award 2023,” a distinction of the highest order.
