The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall do not anticipate any public commitments during the school break of their offspring, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
However, Prince William interrupted his respite to engage in a virtual conversation with firefighters battling unprecedented wildfires in Canada, as per the Wednesday’s Court Circular.
Canada is currently in the throes of an unprecedented wildfire season, with data indicating that a staggering 45.7 million acres (18.5 million hectares) have succumbed to flames in 2023, eclipsing the prior record of 17.5 million acres (7.1 million hectares), as reported by the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Center.
Prince William and Duchess Kate have conducted two official excursions to Canada. Their maiden voyage occurred in 2011 shortly following their nuptials, and the second took place in 2016, with their eldest progeny, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, joining them on this expedition.
This past weekend, the royal couple exhibited their unwavering support for their patronage of rugby.
The Duke brought along his ten-year-old son, George, to witness the Wales versus Argentina clash at the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals in Marseille, France.
Regrettably, the outcome was unfavorable for the Welsh team in their quest for a spot in the semi-finals. Nevertheless, it was subsequently disclosed that young George relished a post-match repast.
Meanwhile, Princess Kate graced the stands at England’s duel against Fiji in Marseille on Sunday evening. She engaged in convivial conversation with dignitaries present.
During her tête-à-tête with Sir Bill Beaumont, Kate expressed her delight in her son’s enjoyment during the previous day’s sporting event. The World Rugby chairman playfully remarked about George’s voracious appetite.
“He certainly made the most of it,” the princess averred with a smile. “He heartily indulged in the pizza,” Sir Beaumont quipped. “Yes, I’m aware,” Kate chuckled.
In the upcoming month, Prince William is slated to embark on a journey to Singapore for the third Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony. However, his consort, Kate, will not accompany him.
This event, scheduled for November 7, coincides with George’s academic examinations taking place the same week. It has come to our attention that Kate is resolute in her desire to remain in Windsor to lend her support to her son.
As it stands, George, now eight, Charlotte, aged eight, and Louis, five, are in their respective Year Six, Year Four, and Year One at Lambrook School in Berkshire.
These young royals commenced their enrollment at the co-educational preparatory institution in September 2022. Prior to this, George and Charlotte attended Thomas’ Battersea School in southwest London, while Louis received his education at Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington.
Preceding the half-term hiatus, the Duke and Duchess undertook a series of three-day commitments to commemorate World Mental Health Day. Their activities included a visit to Birmingham, where Kate delivered an impassioned oration.
William, on the other hand, convened with emergency responders in Milton Keynes, while Kate took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, recounting her days as a student at Nottingham Trent University.
The royal couple then actively participated in a mental fitness workshop facilitated by Kate’s patronage, SportsAid, in Marlow.
