The Duke and Duchess are attempting to mend their relationship with the Prince of Wales and the rest of the Royal Family, as their current relations are believed to be at an all-time low.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly intending to reconcile with Prince William by leasing an apartment at Kensington Palace, according to an insider source.
Nonetheless, the Duke of Sussex still holds concerns about the possibility of feeling restricted within the palace, the OK! Magazine’s insider revealed.
The source mentioned, “They are considering renting an apartment at Kensington Palace and furnishing it themselves. This is a gesture aimed at pleasing William and demonstrating their genuine intent to return. Harry is cautious about being confined within the palace.”
Despite these efforts, experts on royal matters remain skeptical about the feasibility of a reconciliation between the two estranged brothers, as reported by the Express.
Sarah Hewson, Royal Editor for Talk TV, stated on Sky News Australia that she observes no indications of such a development. The extent of the damage and the profound nature of the wounds suggest that a substantial amount of effort and a considerable duration will be necessary for the healing process.
Furthermore, she emphasized, “Currently, there is no observable proof that either party is inclined to resolve this matter and move towards reconciliation or letting go of grievances.”
Following the publication of the Duke’s contentious memoir “Spare” earlier this year in January, it is widely believed that the relationship between Prince Harry and Prince William has reached an unprecedented nadir.
In his comprehensive book, Harry made a series of astonishing assertions against the Royal Family, specifically targeting William on several occasions.
Among the most shocking of these claims was Harry’s account of a physical altercation between the two brothers, reportedly sparked by Harry’s desire to depart from the Royal establishment. This purported incident allegedly culminated in William pushing Harry to the ground.
Additionally, Harry alleges that the future King referred to Meghan as “difficult,” “rude,” and “abrasive,” which he contends was a replication of the portrayal in the media.
Following their formal departure from the Royal Family in 2020, Harry and Meghan relocated to Montecito, California, where they have engaged in various initiatives, including their charitable organization Archewell.
