Earlier this week, the Prince of Wales journeyed to New York to support the Earthshot prize. Royal enthusiasts have subsequently visited the official Instagram page of the royal to express their views regarding his two-day visit. While in the United States, Prince William continued to engage on social media by sharing pictures from various events, including his participation in the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit.
On the second day, after a discreet morning jog in Central Park, the father of three participated in his last official event in New York before heading back to Windsor. William paid a visit to FDNY’s Ten House Fire Station to showcase the efforts of the city’s first responders and to learn about their experiences working in New York City. Royal enthusiasts promptly commented on his social media post about the visit to express their thoughts on his trip.
One individual commented, “He’s such a courteous person, taking the time to greet everyone. The royals belong to us too, and Americans adore them just as much!!” Another person chimed in with, “It’s clear that Prince William is well-loved in the USA.”
A third person noted, “If your mother could see how you’re representing your country, she’d be extremely proud! Impressive.” Meanwhile, a fourth individual expressed, “Prince William is undeniably popular!!!! He possesses charisma, grace, respect, family values, and a strong sense of duty… Excellent job, Prince William, you’re carrying out your responsibilities with remarkable class.”
Despite his return to the United Kingdom, the Prince will soon embark on another international journey, this time to Singapore for The Earthshot Prize final. While there was initial speculation that his wife, the Princess of Wales, would accompany him, recent reports suggest that she is not anticipated to join him on this trip.
In October 2020, the Prince of Wales introduced the Earthshot Prize, drawing inspiration from the Moonshot project initiated by former US President John F. Kennedy, which propelled humanity’s progress forward.
