The summer break has been a delightful time for the three children of the Prince and Princess of Wales – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Their current pastime involves enjoying the holidays, and a potentially exciting opportunity awaits the eldest two. If they decide to participate, they could embark on an enjoyable adventure by attending a special children’s camp situated right near their home.
This week, there is an ongoing event named the ‘Nature explorer’s day camp’ that spans multiple days. Interestingly, this camp is taking place within the Windsor Great Park, which happens to be the location of the family’s primary residence known as Adelaide Cottage.
Described on the park’s official website, this camp promises an array of enjoyable activities and a chance to explore wildlife. Participants will gain insights into the captivating world of wildlife and learn about preserving their habitats through engaging games and creative crafts. The day camp is scheduled from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM and will continue until Friday.
The sessions are accessible for children aged 8 to 12, indicating that the youngest sibling, Louis, won’t be able to participate. Each ticket’s cost is £37.48.
It’s already established that the children of Wales have a strong fondness for nature, following in the footsteps of their adventurous parents.
Prince William has shared in the past about his children’s enthusiasm for outdoor activities, expressing, “Observing my kids, witnessing the fervor in their gaze and their affection for the outdoors… They get excited about discovering insects and are fascinated by observing bees as they create honey.”
Especially George, if he’s indoors, he becomes somewhat similar to a confined creature. It’s necessary for him to spend time outside.
In the upcoming days, it’s probable that the family will be traveling to Scotland for their summer vacation, where they will unite with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Balmoral Castle.
The Wales family possesses their own accommodation right on the premises – a residence named Tam-Na-Ghar. This property was bestowed upon Prince William by his late great-grandmother, the Queen Mother, before her passing in 2002.
Being present at the expansive Balmoral estate spanning 50,000 acres provides the entire family with an opportunity to unwind and regain energy. They partake in wholesome activities like fishing, hiking, and horse riding. Additionally, it’s common to engage in picnics and barbecues while at the estate – the setting sounds absolutely picturesque!
Might Prince Harry and Meghan Markle take part in the family gathering? Although Charles might have extended an invitation to the Sussexes for the event, there has been no confirmation of their attendance.
It appears improbable that they will journey from the US along with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Instead, it seems they have opted to spend their summer in the comfort of their expansive residence in Montecito.
