The Princess of Wales parties at Norfolk music festival during summer break – report

Over the weekend, it is believed that the Princess of Wales made a unique appearance at Houghton Hall, coinciding with the annual Houghton Festival held at the stately residence. According to Richard Eden of The Daily Mail, the 41-year-old mother of three participated in the 24-hour music festival following a visit to her nearby neighbors, David and Rose, the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley.

The event occurs on their extensive 1,000-acre property and is purportedly the sole festival where DJs perform continuous live music. Initiated in 2017, this year’s festival featured over 200 artists who entertained across an impressive 13 platforms.

This marks not the initial instance the royal figure has set foot on the impressive property. In 2018, Princess Kate graced the Houghton Horse Trials accompanied by two of her three offspring – Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

For the enjoyable event, Kate appeared stunning in a powder blue outfit from the popular high street brand, Zara. Her Flocked Print Dress showcased an elasticized neckline, delicate blue embellishments, and a belt styled like a sash around the waist.

In the meantime, during 2016, Prince William and Princess Kate adorned their finest attire for a special fundraising dinner hosted at Houghton Hall in support of the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices charity.

Accompanying other attendees at the remarkable venue, William and Kate commenced their glamorous night with a champagne welcome. The musical portion of the event was supplied by the Jefford Brothers and Sam Aldersey-Williams, and magician Archie Manners also took the spotlight.

Later on, the guests were indulged in a delectable five-course dinner, expertly prepared by five internationally acclaimed chefs: Galton Blackiston, Sat Bains, Claude Bosi, Tom Kerridge, and Mark Edwards.

As always, the Duchess at that time appeared flawlessly elegant in a Jenny Packham gown adorned with blush pink sequins, featuring graceful capped sleeves, an A-line skirt, and a defined waistline. Her polished brunette hair was styled in an elegant chignon, and she enhanced her splendid appearance with crystal dangling earrings and a satin clutch.

On the other hand, her spouse, Prince William, looked debonair in a sharp tuxedo.

In the summertime, the Prince and Princess of Wales retreat to their exquisite Norfolk residence, Anmer Hall, bestowed upon them as a wedding gift by the deceased Queen Elizabeth II.

Situated near the Sandringham estate, the ten-bedroom estate boasts proximity to numerous friends of William and Kate who reside in the vicinity. In the past, it served as their primary abode when the Prince held the position of an air ambulance pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

In 2021, during an episode of the Apple Fitness+ series Time to Walk, William commented about his Norfolk residence, saying, “We spend as much time as we can here; it’s extremely tranquil.”

The family possesses ample delightful outdoor area for the children’s amusement, with accounts suggesting the presence of climbing frames, a climbing wall, and swings.

Although the estate once featured a private swimming pool and tennis court, William and Kate purportedly decided to substitute these amenities with an artificial lawn.
