On a day filled with excitement and sporting spirit, the Prince of Wales, accompanied by his son Prince George, attended the England V Australia Ashes cricket match at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London on Saturday.
Prince William, alongside his eldest child, the nine-year-old Prince George, displayed cheerful smiles as they occupied a box amongst a gathering of esteemed personalities.
Among the notable figures present were renowned cricket commentator Mark Nichola, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and Richard Thompson, the Chairman of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
During England vs Australia match, Prince Charles seemed to be guiding his son through the game as they watched attentively. the Prince of Wales, dressed in smart-casual attire, sported a blue blazer, a pale blue shirt, and aviator sunglasses. In a striking resemblance to his father, Prince George also wore a navy blazer and a white checked shirt.
Amidst the excitement of the match, Prince George was seen enjoying a slice of pizza while Prince Charles engaged in conversation and shared laughter with Rishi Sunak
The Princess of Wales did not accompany her husband and son to the match, and their other two children, eight-year-old Princess Charlotte and five-year-old Prince Louis were also absent.
Prince William made a surprise appearance on Friday when he joined his brother Prince Harry at the Diana Award Virtual Awards. This marked the first time they were seen together since their father, King Charles, was crowned in May.
Their presence at the event was to show support for the Diana Award, an organization established in 1999 to honor the late Diana, Princess of Wales, and her belief in the potential of young people to make a positive impact and change the world.
